Denali & the Savage Beast "Hill"

Alaska didn't make it easy on us. In fact, we had to earn it's respect.

The ranger told us this hike was essentially just a big hill. But 1.5 miles later we were soaked in sweat and sitting in the clouds-- we'd conquered the savage beast mountain-hill.

(The fact the it was called the "savage beast trail" should have been a red flag... but that's behind us now.)
